Chakras block for Florence quilt

This is one of the sashing blocks for my Florence quilt. It is inspired by an exhibition on Indian art at the Art Gallery of NSW. It draws on the symbols representing the movement of energy upwards through the chakras to the flowering into bliss and beyond.
The original images are astonishingly beautiful, and this hardly compares, but I still like the shapes and impact of the image.
